Stage Four: Post-Training Review (PTR)

The PTR is held six to eight weeks after your event, to measure the change that has taken place, maximising upon your investment.

Your own Training Evaluation Report will be produced and will measure the effectiveness of your training, focusing on the genuine 'front-line' needs.

Your PTR will enable your team leaders to (agreed at the start):

  • Re-identify the purpose of your development programme and reinforce memories of what was achieved
  • Evaluate progress so far, and identify future support areas
  • Use a training evaluation questionnaire to 'measure' and review results
  • Includes your own full Training Evaluation Report, which will clearly identify:
    • What was achieved?
    • What wasn't achieved and why?
    • What needs developing further regarding each team leader's skills?
    • An opportunity to discuss organisational development
