Stage Two: Pre-Training Brief (PTB) – ensuring a firm development foundation
Following on from Stage 1, the PTB is an excellent opportunity to meet each of the team leaders again, allowing the Programme Director to deepen their involvement in the programme, and follow up their Ongoing Training Strategies, set during Stage 1. Your PTB will ensure your event is a total success.
The PTB is a unique, interactive and enjoyable session. Our Programme Directors confirm the ownership of your team leaders in their forthcoming Development Stages; they listen to and understand what their expectations are, and relate how they interrelate and correlate with the organisational expectations. Potential negatives are discussed and eliminated, ensuring that the next stage of the training programme commences with a positive approach and attitude.
Your PTB will enable your team leaders to:
- Identify the purpose of the team leader event and their personal development training programme
- Question and identify why they are involved in the programme
- Think through and review their own personal and professional objectives and development needs
- Recognise that the company is investing in their people and teams
- Overcome potential negatives prior to the next stage
Ownership will be established, and clarity of objectives defined, personal development of individuals and teams set, evaluated, monitored and measured, increasing value for money and return on investment.
We will also write (email) to every person prior to the event, explaining all joining instructions and what they will need to bring. This removes further administration burdens from your company administrator.
